Cadence
The rhythm of a sequence. How many touches, on which days, over what span.
Cadence design is mostly an argument about the follow-up interval and the number of touches. Longer intervals with fewer touches usually beat the reverse, because relevance decays more slowly than patience.
A cadence with no stop condition is a complaint waiting to happen.
What GTM does about it
Any inbound message skips every pending step for that contact. After the final touch waits a full follow-up interval with no reply, the contact moves to lost. A real status with its own folder, rather than a row that looks alive.
