Domain warmup
Ramping volume on a new sending domain slowly, so receiving providers build a reputation for it.
A brand-new domain sending a thousand messages on day one looks exactly like a domain bought for spam, because that is what those domains do. Warmup is the practice of starting small and increasing gradually while engagement stays healthy.
Peer warmup networks. Where tools exchange mail between each other's mailboxes and mark it as read. Improve engagement signals at the providers where those mailboxes live. They cannot build reputation at a provider where you have no mailboxes.
What GTM does about it
New senders default onto an enforced ramp: 10, 25, 50 and then your ceiling. Warmup traffic runs between your own senders under the same ceiling. We do not claim it builds Gmail reputation, because a domain-only stack cannot.
