Glossary
Warm vs cold outreach
Whether the recipient has done something that makes contact expected, or has not.
The line is blurrier than the vocabulary suggests. Somebody who engaged a public post about your problem space has not asked to hear from you, but they have made themselves relevant, and a message referencing what they engaged with reads very differently from a firmographic guess.
Warmth is a property of the evidence, not of the contact.
What GTM does about it
Every contact starts at heat 1 and only moves on observed evidence. The queue takes contacts at 4 and above, so what is in flight is people with recent evidence rather than the whole sourced market.
