Chief Legal Officer
Own the legal side of a company that finds and stores contact data on purpose, including privacy, platform rules and contracts.
About the role
TryGTM finds contact data itself, so the law treats us as responsible for that data. We chose this on purpose. GTM records where every fact came from, deletes old data on time, checks every message before it sends, and blocks anyone who asked to be left alone. Now we need the lawyer who owns all of that.
From day one, you will own some big open questions: who is responsible for what data, whether we can serve Europe, our risk under LinkedIn's rules, our list of suppliers, and how the company itself is set up.
You will
- Own privacy and data protection from start to finish, including our data agreement and supplier list.
- Advise on the rules for each channel, like email laws and LinkedIn's terms.
- Set up our contracts with customers, suppliers and large companies.
- Set up the company properly and keep it in good order as we grow.
You have
- A law license and real experience in technology, privacy or business law.
- Comfort being the whole legal team, with outside lawyers when it counts.
- The habit of saying what the real risk is, not just what sounds safe.
